Happy Halloween!

I turned thirty-three this past weekend. I had a great birthday in Boston with our wicked-cool friends, the Truscotts. They made me this deliciously decadent cake.

We had a great weekend in general and even went to visit our other great friends, the Bates in New Hampshire (we miss you!).
Just for the record, I am completely fine with my new age. In fact, I embrace it. I know who I am and I'm very content with who I've become. I look forward to my thirties!

This was pretty funny because I didn't know what to expect. I just uploaded her photo at http://www.myabcadventure.com/index.htm. It's amazing how much they can do with just a photo.

update: I guess this video expired now all you see instead of her name is Undefined and now there is just empty space where the photo of her face should be... oh well.

Lucky Girl

We were walking to the mall and Hannah was riding on my shoulders instead of in the stroller where she was supposed to be.

Minna: Hannah, you're a lucky girl.
Hannah: (nodding) Yep... cause I'm Hannah!

Sleep tight

Last night, Dan and I heard the girls laughing in their room after we had put them down for bed. After we watched our movie, we went in to check on them and Hannah had climbed in the Pack-n-Play with Jane (hence the giggles) and took her bedding with her. This was the first time she had done this to fall asleep. It was tight but apparently cozy!

In the rain

We had to get Dan from the airport the other night, and since it had been raining, I put the girls in their boots. They were so excited to wear them! I couldn't resist taking this picture of them in their PJs. Jane walked like a bow-legged cowgirl.
