Happy Easter

I was at work and I got an email from Minna, attached was a picture of the fun that she had been having that day with Hannah our little Easter bunny, and wouldn't you know it some Easter candy showed up this morning in the kitchen. I believe!

A day at the beach

Hannah had her first day at the beach on Saturday (she's hiding in daddy's jacket). We went to Jones Beach out on Long Island where it was chilly but sunny. It was fun to get our little family out of the city.

Yes, she IS growing

We weren't sure, but it has now been proven that Hannah is gaining weight! wahoo! She is now 8lbs 6oz and she is 22 inches long. She's is so beautiful. She was checked yesterday at the doctor and he also gave her a little shot. or rather... shall I say in proportion to her little leg where it was received, it was a HUGE shot and she howled like a full grown wolf on a full moon night. We have a healthy, happy baby.

Goin' to the Chapel

It was Hannah's first day at church. Mom was very excited to dress her up (this is a dress grandma made for Aunt Rachel's blessing over 30 years ago). She posed for us briefly (pic 1) before we had a little song practice (pic 2). Finally, she had had enough (pic 3) and we were done. She was a charmer at church though. Some women couldn't get enough of her, but then again, who can!

Daddy Daughter Day at jetBlue

We had the pleasure of showing Hannah off to Dan's co-workers on Friday. The room filled with varying tones of "ohhh's" and "ahhh's" as we entered the office. We heard them again as Dan took off Hannah's sock to expose her tiny yet long foot and toes. Some were happy to hold her, some refused and some were reluctant, but Hannah's charm and mellow character soon cured them of their phobias. All in all, it was a fun visit!

Meet Hannah

Hannah is a brown-haired, blue-eyed (we think) beauty. Her favorite color is pink, she loves long walks and goes crazy for root beer floats. She's so polite at night that she hardly ever makes a peep, and she loves mommy and daddy's bed. She dislikes carseats, baths (so far) and her crib. Her favorite pastime is eating!

Hannah's First (Sponge) Bath

Hannah didn't seem to take too well to water. Her eyes and cry seemed to say, "how could you do this to me, Momma?" We're hoping she will enjoy it when she can be more fully submerged.

Hannah Ruth Dyer was born on Tuesday, February 15, 2005 at 2:34 pm. She weighed 7 lbs 1 oz, and was 19 3/4 inches long. She has long, long fingers and dark hair. She also has a cute little blonde spot of hair on the back of her head, which is sooo fun.
